Ranbir Kapoor’s highly anticipated movie, Animal, has finally received a new release date, as revealed by director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The film, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, will be released in multiple languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Previously scheduled for August 11, the release of Animal was postponed. However, Sandeep Reddy Vanga took to Twitter to announce the new release date and explain the reason behind the delay. In a video message, he stated that the primary factor behind the postponement is the film’s quality. While this explanation may seem generic, Sandeep emphasized that ensuring high-quality content is of utmost importance. He elaborated by using the example of the film’s seven songs, which, when multiplied by five languages, amount to a total of 35 songs. With different lyricists and singers involved, the process takes longer than initially planned.
Sandeep also expressed his gratitude for the positive response to the film’s pre-teaser, acknowledging that some viewers had doubts about its inclusion in the final cut. He clarified that the pre-teaser was indeed a part of the film, serving as a glimpse into an episode from the storyline.
